PopNote Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 10, 2026 · Last updated: September 25, 2026

PopNote is a notes app for iPhone and iPad made by Murad Ismayilov ("I", "me"). This policy explains what data PopNote handles, where it goes, and the choices you have. The short version: your notes live on your device; nothing leaves it unless you choose to sign in for sync — and nothing is ever used for advertising, analytics, or tracking.

Using PopNote without an account

You can use every feature of PopNote without signing in ("Maybe later"). In guest mode:

What PopNote does not do

Purchases

PopNote offers a one-time lifetime unlock after a free trial. The purchase is processed entirely by Apple; I never see or store your payment details. Purchase entitlement is checked on your device via Apple's StoreKit.

Data retention and deletion

Children

PopNote is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g., GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. The in-app account deletion covers erasure instantly; for anything else, email me and I'll respond as soon as I can.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the dates above will be updated and the current version will always be available at this address.
